Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Sinkly (“we”, “us”) provides a staff console for Roblox and Discord communities. This policy explains what information the Sinkly Discord OAuth 2.0 application and the Sinkly bot collect, how that information is used, and how it is stored.

2. Information we collect

When you authorize Sinkly through Discord, Discord returns the following based on the scopes you approve:

• Your Discord user ID, username, global display name and avatar.
• Your email address, if you approve the email scope.
• The list of servers you belong to, including your permission level in each, so we can show which servers you may connect.
• An OAuth access token and refresh token issued by Discord.

When the Sinkly bot is invited to a server, it may read server metadata (name, icon, roles, channels) and member records (nicknames, roles, join dates) needed for staff management, rank syncing and notifications.

We do not read or store message content, direct messages, voice audio, or payment information. We never receive your Discord password.

3. How we use it

• To confirm your Discord identity inside the Sinkly console.
• To link your Discord profile to your community staff record.
• To let community owners connect and manage their servers.
• To perform actions you or a community owner request: role syncing, nickname updates, and sending notifications to configured channels.

4. Storage and security

Discord profile data and OAuth tokens are stored in our managed database with row-level security, so each record is only readable by the user it belongs to and by Sinkly server processes. Bot credentials and tokens are never exposed to the browser or to other users. Data is retained while your account or the connected community is active.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share Discord data with third parties other than the infrastructure providers required to run Sinkly (hosting and database). We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Revoking access

You can disconnect Sinkly at any time from your Discord authorized apps settings, or by unlinking Discord in your Sinkly account. A server administrator can remove the Sinkly bot from a server at any time, which stops all further data collection for that server. Deleting your Sinkly account removes stored Discord profile data and tokens.

7. Children

Sinkly is a tool for community staff and follows Discord’s minimum age requirements. It is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has connected their account, contact us and we will remove the record.

8. Relationship to Discord

Sinkly is an independent product and is not created by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Discord Inc.
